A few quick updates

So summer has been really hard for me to find the time to blog.  I hardly ever get on the computer at all and when I do I've been busy doing a few pictures and getting stuff organized and researched for our trips.  We've been going to 7 peaks at least once a week and just running errands trying to get ready for the trips.  So here's a few updates before we leave for 3 weeks...

Kara- is just getting huge!  She's not my baby anymore!  She love babies though.  She loves to carry around a baby doll and get her nails painted and all sorts of girly things.  But she hates getting her hair done and pulls out clips and rubberbands the second I put them in.  She's starting to talk a ton too.  Which is good cuz she's what like 3 months shy of being 2.  Anyways- she's a cutie and the boys just lover her!

Brock is a character!  I swear this child has the craziest most active imagination.  He was playing the other day and looked up at me and said "Ray ray has money coming out of her ears."  Or something.  And then rolled on the ground laughing for a few minutes.  Which had nothing to do with what he was doing-- (You'll have to clue me in on that one Rach)  But I swear his mind is always going a thousand miles an hour...  Anyways- he's in love with building things.  We got this alien matter maker thing- it was on clearance at Toys R Us (ooo  I'll tell you that story later)  Anyways- brock can spend hours making aliens or building with blocks.  It's awesome.  Oh and he's still a huge flirt!  Just putting his arm around girls in primary and making friends with every lady in a 3 mile radius.

Scott is getting old.  He loves the Wii and has recently become obsessed with Star Wars Lego Game  (another Toys R Us score- it was like 11 bux!)  But he is just getting older and more mature and I bought him a lunch box for school the other day and realized how old my little boy is!  He's gonna be eating lunch at school and it made me sad he's growing up so fast!!  *sigh*

Dan- well dan's just dan.  No major injuries lately.  Wait I take that back- he had what he thought was a hernia a while back.  It was this bulging ball bigger than a marble smaller than a golf ball thing in his gut and was dying of pain but after an ultrasound and a few trips to the dr. it was a strained muscle we think and muscle relaxers and pain killers helped him get over that one.  But that was fun to think about him having to have a major surgery  right before our big trip...  (note the sarcasm)  But Dan has been working on paving an extra drive way piece like he did at our old house.  And it's gotten just as far.  Cleared and nearly grated and waiting for the rest.  But it's obviously on hold till the end of summer at least....

As for me- Well I'm pregnant.  I'm almost 10 weeks.  I had an ultrasound last week and got to see my little peanut!  Everything looked good!  I've been feeling like CRAP though.  I've been sickest with this one and totally exhausted.  We've decided this one is our last one probably and this rough start to the pregnancy has made me feel really good about that decision!  Haha.  Anyways- I'm nervous about cruising while so ill but I've got some good prescriptions from my dr. that should help.  Anyways- other than the baby- I'm just boring.  All I can do lately is lay on the couch.  The house work and picture stuff has taken a serious back burner.  But come the end of Aug I should be hopefully feeling better and functioning.  So everyone who has asked about pictures- get in touch with me then....

Anyways- oh- story of a crazy day- the toys r us story.  So the boys have been BEGGING me to take them to Toys R Us since they found an ad in the paper (I'm trying to coupon and they keep finding ads to "shop" from and drive me crazy- this coupon thing is causing me adverse side effects)  Anyways- we get there and Scott is so excited he keeps wandering off and I have to be the mom standing there yelling for her lost child!  So we went to get the games that we had coupons for and you have to check out in that little section before you can leave and I turn around and Scott is lost again- so I hurry and buy the games and as we're walking out of that little room type thing Kara starts freaking out cuz she's done being buckled into the cart so I put her in the basket.  I'm looking down isles calling for Scott (Brock was an angel and just followed me) and I turn back to look at Kara right as she bails out of the cart- as in she leaned so far over the edge of the cart she fell out.  I caught her by her ankle luckily but was provieded a not so pleasant surprise.  She had pooped and it had gone all the way up the back of her onsie somehow!!  So I find Scott go to the bathroom and gag my way through the nastiest toddler diaper change ever and without a spare change of clothes I try to wash off the back of the onesie and put it back on her and of course she reaks and wholly hannah it was awful!  Neadless to say we exited the facility asap!   Yeah- I probably won't take all 3 kids to a toy store EVER again!

Anyways- life is keeping us busy and I PROMISE to post pictures of the house and all our trips after we get back!  The big reason I haven't posted pictures of the house is because I haven't cleaned very well since we moved in since I've been so sick and exhausted!  But someday......  Sorry no pictures...

What an update!
Congrats on the little peanut! I sure hope you feel good enough to enjoy your trip!
There's always tomorrow and a season for everything! Way to kick those feet up and grow a peanut all while watching the other little ones grow up way too fast!

Wow! Congrats! I had to stop having babies because I got sicker every time. The last one did me in. We are done.

I had to stop toy store trips by myself when I had to have a code adam called on one of my kids. Yep! I am a good mom. Maybe I should have stopped earlier.

I love the Toys R Us story - I swear kids wait until we are out some where to "mess" their pants!
Glad you're doing well.

Congrats! I hope you get to feeling better soon. Have fun on all your trips. Can't wait to see the pictures when you get back. I hardly ever read the newspaper but I sat down & saw the article on housing on the frong page & saw your name. Pretty fun to have an article on the front page with stories about you & your house.
