Somehow kids are just cuter in the summer...
Case in point--- Lemonade stands!
Sunday was our buddies the Sheppards little boy first birthday. (Was that as confusing as I think it sounded....) For the bday they threw a big shindig at their house complete with a giant blow up water slide... I threw together a fun cake for the occasion.
Which he enjoyed but would only eat it with a fork
But after a while he decided he was done and dumped the plate onto the ground :)
And then just some pics of the kiddos...
Dan's trying to pass on his families addiction to diet caffeine free sodas to our children haha- which apparently is working! :) Mmmmmm
One of the neighbor boys got a little wetter than he expected and was none too happy about it...
And now a ton of pictures of the sweet water slide Ashlee had for the party...
At first my lil guy thought the slide looked fun...
But as he went down he soon realized the slide went faster then he thought it would...
I just like his face above- it's like he's thinking- "Ahhh I'm not too sure about this guys!"
But my eldest sure enjoyed the slide and would LAUNCH himself into the air over and over...
I just love that you can just see his hand in this one as he slid into the bottom part...
I decided to have a go at it with one of my kiddos... as you can tell- it didn't handle my extra weight as well as it did a 40 pound 5 year old... :)
And finally a cute one of my little guy just trying to warm back up in a towell in front of our house...

Don't knock the diet coke addiction. we can't help but pass it down as it was passed down from our parents and passed to them by vern.. its just in our blood. :)
I'm not knockin it Marilyn I think it's cute! :) And I have to admit it's growing on me too. lol
