"Last Unicorn" makes a come back...

So I grew up on this movie.  I LOVED it and would sing the songs and got scared of the Red Bull and the Harpie...  Dan bought it on our Apple TV the other night and I turned it on for the kids last night thinking they wouldn't really like it but they LOVED it.  We had to turn it off before it was over but after the unicorn turns into a girl...  Scott was so bummed he had to go to bed instead of finishing it.

I'm so impressed this movie spans the ages...  It's lacking the potty humor or computer animation of more recent movies like Madagascar or Bolt but I'm happy my child hood faves are making a good impression on my kids!

Also- my friend Amanda taught me that Disney Silly Symphonies (think Ferdinand the Bull or Lambert the Sheepish Lion or the 3 Little Pigs) can be found on YouTube.  we play those on our apple tv too and it's not too shabby on our big TV.  Plus my kids again- love it!  Good times!!

And on a random note- Did anyone ever see the cartoon- "The Reluctant Dragon" as a child?  I remember liking it and I pulled it up on YouTube the other day.  If you haven't seen it, pull it up and watch it.  OK- what was the deal with Disney making a SUPER flamboyantl gay character in a kids cartoon?  Weird right???
