I swear if I have to take him to the ER for this it's coming out of his allowance till he pays it off! Grrr... We're waiting to hear back from the dr. on at home tips to take care of this....
Oh the joys of motherhood!
**** Update 3 hours later- after trying EVERYTHING to get it out, called the pediatrician, who had us call the ENT got an apt, found a sitter for Kara, Scott sneezed and he claims the popcorn seed popped right out! Let's hope he's right. (there were several popcorn seeds on the floor from earlier so it was really impossible to tell.... but we're crossing our fingers that it did actually come out! :)***

The doctor taught us how to put saline in a bulb syringe and squirt it up one side to get foreign objects out of the other. Not extremely pleasant but it works and we prefer it to the $230 it cost to have it removed in the office. (They taught us to do that after the third trip in 2 months for objects up the nose.)
I'm so glad I'm not the only one to have children who are fascinated with pushing stuff up their nose!
I will def have to call you next time it happens (cuz I'm sure there will be a next time...)
Hahaha. Bradley once stuck something up his nose while I was packing and on my way to close on our home. I had to stop at my sisters house to use her bulb syringe. It didn't work but it eventually came out after he cried so much that snot forced it out.
If there are holes, they will find things to put in them.
Never been through it, but it was funny reading your ordeal!
I hope it's out too! I just did a post on Kyler and his lego up his nose! Who would have thought? It's normal! That's what they told me at the dr. Some do it more than once.
