My GREAT day!

So I finally sucked it up and paid someone good money to take my family pictures. I've written how much I LOVE Yan of Yan Photo (remember, I took her heartshop last year and LOVED it!) and when she posted that she was going to start offering mini family sessions in her studio in Provo I geeked out and immediately signed us up! So today was the big day. I opted for mostly bright colors and normal clothes for the kiddos. Nothing matching. Dan and I just in normal clothes. Yan was beyond FABULOUS to work with! She made us feel at home and comfortable and beautiful. No like really really beautiful. And she was 100% convincing. I'm sure she says things like "Oh my gosh, you're eyes" or "You guys are just so natural I love it!" to all her clients, but I sincerely believed her. And I honestly felt like she meant it. It was just awesome and I walked away feeling giddy and beautiful and so darn glad I paid her our hard earned cash to do our pictures. It's always been hard for me to pay someone more than $100 for like 45 minutes with them to take our pictures. (I also have a heard time charging it of other people) But the more I think about it, the more important I realize it is to me. Pictures are the ONLY memories I have of my Grandpa Pace. Pictures are the biggest reminders of the blur that was our wedding day. Pictures totally bring back the feelings I had on the day I had each of my babies. And I just want to have that remembrance of my special people FOREVER!!!!!

Anyways- if you are looking into getting fabulous really REAL pictures of you and yours I HIGHLY recommend Yan. (And I haven't even seen our pictures yet but you can bet they will be PLASTERED all over my blog as well as my house as soon as I get them.) So thanks Yan for making me feel beautiful and special!!!!!!

THEN I got 2 blurb books in the mail today!!! I did a Jasmere coupon thingy and made our books last week out of our blog and so I now have 2006-2009 in hard copy coffee table type books! LOVE! I LOVE having a hard copy of my blog to look at and read and remember and love!!!!

Sigh- that was the highlights of a fabulous day for me. :)
