Vegas Vacation!
So we spent the last 4 days in Vegas! So exciting I know. Well we didn't hit the strip or anything- we don't even drive past the sign on the way in. But we did have a good time with lots of family functions!
Dan's sister's Katie got married on Friday afternoon. She's now Mrs. Katie McFadden! Katie and Garrett got married at the temple and the reception was at the church by their Dan's moms house. It was awesome and beautiful and they are the cutest couple and he's gonna be such a great dad to her little Marie (20 months old). The pic is of Katie and Marie at the reception. Tell me that isn't the prettiest wedding dress ever. I loved it! Such a cute mommy and daughter!
We also spent alot of time hanging out at my parents. Scott and Brock just love their new little dog Daisy. She's a Min Pin Yorkie mix. So teeny- like she'll be 4 pounds I think at her biggest. She's like a little mouse dog. Too too cute!
My rock star Diva sister had her Senior prom while we were there! You can't really tell from this pic cuz my camera stinks (I really really need a new one!)- but her hair was sooooo dope! She had HOT pink extensions put in and you could see them from the sides and top and back. It was so awesome! She's a babe- what can I say! She must get it from me (just kidding)- not that you can tell from this picture! (It was a long day!) And just for the record- I'm really an inch taller than her! she just has heels on in this pic- just had to clarify!
(Oh and did you spot the baby bump in that pic!!!! Yup= 3 months pregnant! Surprise!!! Due early November!)
And I am officially a stereotype mormon mommy. 2.5 kiddies, living in Utah county, YW pres, and I now rock a mini-van!!! It's kinda fun. Unfortunately it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it does have a 6 disc CD changer and pimp faux wood panel stickers! haha. Just kidding- it's a dope van. And we're getting a dvd player in the ceiling asap! It's an adjustment and all my friends and young women have been making fun of me but it's just cuz their jealous! (That's what I keep telling myself.) I didn't have any pics of ours but this is what it looks like- color and everything. It's my pimpwagon!

Congratulations on baby #3!!! Michelle is a babe I did her Senior pics - she's adorable.
I've never said "I'll never drive a minivan" because I'm scared it will curse me. I know they're really not that bad and that it must be quite nice to have the extra room, especially with #3 coming! Congrats again!
Wish we were in Vegas, we haven't seen you guys in forever! Don't feel bad about the minivan, it's what all good moms have to come to accept. (Well, that's what Tommy keeps telling me...we'll have to see.) I'm sure you're loving all of the extra space. And I know I've already said it, but I'm SO glad you guys are pregnant again. Let's have more of our babies together, OK? Oh, and I love the prom picture. How come prom dresses are so cute now? I look at mine, and either I had baaaad fashion sense (which is very possible) or else they were ugly back then.
I agree with Emily. Our prom dresses were ugly back then. Michelle looks so beautiful! It's all good about the mini-van. I'm with Trisha.. never say never. Oh and Katie's dress looks beautiful from behind!
Hey don't trash minivan drivers....I am one and I know at least 3 people who think they are the best thing ever...besides they are much easier to get out of when pregnant!
