Weird Things I'm Thankful For

***Warning***- To all the Men reading this be warned- some "girly" topics will be found below- you may want to skip this post....

1-Pony Tail Holders- if it weren't for this nifty invention- my hair would always look scary!
2- Hospital Panties (those "sexy" mesh ones)- I'm thankful for these purely for their functional nature during the post pregnancy stage...
3-Nursing Boobs- I get to feel like a real woman during the bodacious ta ta stage where my boobs actually grow beyond a nearly A cup size. It renews my desire to purchase a lovely set for myself later in life.
4- Scott's taste in music- his favorite song right now is "Video Killed the Radio Star"- he really knows almost all the words and ROCKS OUT in the car and requests that song to be played non-stop while we're driving. Past faves have included- "I Love Rock and Roll" "Life is a Highway" and "I Had a Bad Day"
5- Brock's Finger Nails- I'm not good at clipping the boys' nails as often as I should so they're nails will break a little and Brock will come to me for me to peel the broken part off so it stops bugging him. He'll walk up and say in his cute voice- "Mama- feener" And if I don't get it to be smooth he'll keep coming back until I do a satisfactory job.
6- Dan's Duck Calls- OK- he has like 10 different duck whistle call things- so normally they drive me insane but last night he was trying really really hard to learn this new call off this CD made by this world champion duck caller. Anyways- it's this call where he has to kinda say something with his tounge while calling... Anyways- it was cute to see him trying so hard to blow this silly duck call... Highly entertaining.
7- Kara's Bodily Functions- Anything from a burp to a fart to a sneeze is totally cute when it comes from such a teeny tiny person!!!
8- Blog Peeping- I love blog hopping from my friends blogs onto their friends blogs and on and on- I've discovered some old friends this way and have now seen pictures of some of my old friends spouses I've never met. Anyways- it's an entertaining past time of mine...
9- My "fat" jeans- the pair that are 6 sizes bigger than my normal size that I wear all during my pregnancy and actually fit into right after I have the baby. They are now big on me which is awesome to have something be too big right now...

Those are just a few- I'm sure more will follow...

This is one of my all time favorite blogs! I have to agree with the hospital underwear. I was so excited that in the bag they gave me at the hospital after having Desmond. I actually got 3 pair!! (completly by accident) I was so excited and I am glad I am not the only one that is Thankful for them.

Love this post! You are so funny Nicole!

I used to work with this lady who swore that her favorite panties were those hospital mesh ones. "No V.P.L. with those!" She kept telling me when I was preggers with Cali that I should ask for extras. I was never certain if those extras were for me, or if she was asking me to get her some!
