I'm not big on resolutions just because I always seem to fail at a few... So this year I'm making a short list of ambitions...
1- Learn how to take decent pics of my kids (I'm taking a photography class at UVSC) .
2- I'm going to run the SLC half marathon in September (hopefully- it's a lofty goal but I'm motivated!)
3- Get Brock potty trained by his 3rd birthday. (I have almost a year for this one and won't even start until probably summer or end of summer... but we'll see.)
4- Get Scott to stop sucking his thumb before Kindergarten! (I know I'm a "horrible mom" but the dentist and dr. keep telling me not to push him until right before school and it's creeping up on us) (It may take the dentists help with a "device" but I think we can do it)
5- Lose 15 pounds (goes along with #2- I'm sure if I'm able to run that I'll get close on this one)
Those are a few of my goals/ambitions.... but I know I can do it!!!!

Hey! I want to join your weight loss club. And I would also like to run in the marathon with you!!! I love running...but I've never been able to run more then 2 miles...so it will be a stretch for me. How do you find out details about the race?? Thanks for inspiring me...good luck with your little sickies!!

I'm right there with ya on some of those same goals. But add another 5 pounds to your goal. (Gosh, is that even possible?!!) The hilarious thing is that as I'm typing about wanting to lose 20 pounds, I'm eating a CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFIN!!! (okay, 2 of them) Yikes! I got my work cut out for me! Anyway, good luck to you. I'm sure you will reach your weightloss goals, and others, in no time at all!
What great goals! And by the way when do you have time to take a photography class? You're such a super mom! I hope Kara is getting back to being a happy baby!
Have fun running! I'm jealous you'll be running with Liz. She is an AWESOME running partner! And just a comment on your pictures further down, they turned out really cute! How fun to take a class! Hope the kids are feeling better sooner than later!
I wish that I could take the class with you it sounds fun. Maybe when Dev is done with school I will be able to get out at night! I have been doing the Pilates everyday. I have three different ones two are a work-outs the the other is a butt sculpting thing, so when our kids are not sick you can join me I do it about 7:30 or 8:00. It takes about 40 min. I will need to try running with you when it gets warm.
I wish I was taking that class with you. That is my goal as well...to learn how to take a really cute picture of my kids. I got it...you learn and then teach everyone. Hope your kids are feeling better.
Right on with the marathon! Is Dan going to run with you? :) Good goals though, I'm going to take a photo class myself. Hopefully I'll learn how to work the camera outside of the presets. :)
