Happy Easter (and st patty's day) (and happy anniversary)

Well- I love me some holidays! Any excuse to be silly and dress up or eat candy and lots of food are some of my favorite things!!!

We didn't do anything for st patricks day except dress in green and wear tattoos.





On Easter weekend my mom came up with my lil sis. Friday night my mom took the boys swimming and dan and I had a little free time with just us. We went to the ward Easter Egg hunt on sat morning and the boys loved it (hello- free candy- what's not to love!)(I forgot to put the battery back in my camera before we went- grrrrr- so I didn't get any pics of them hunting...)

Dying easter eggs was by far their fave thing of the day!



So Brock was somewhat of an egg dying artist! Check out this cool egg he made- how did he do it you ask?
Like this- sticking his whole fist with the egg into each color...

So his hands ended up like this! Incredible hulk anyone?
But I still love him!!!!


Then Scott and Dan spent a little time working on one of his trucks- Scott had such a good time- Dan had him un screwing floor panel screws or something but he loved it and Dan loves that his kid is into his latest hobby!




Dan and I went to lunch at Tucano's in provo for our anniversary and can I say YUMMO's!!!!

Yowza that place is good! I was in heaven- that place ROCKS! It's a brazillian steakhouse for those of you who don't know- it's buffet kinda but they bring meat on giant swords to your table for you- it's super cool! Then we went to the temple that night (we did sealings and it was really cool- like renewing our vows or something- to hear the words all over again was really neat on our anniversary weekend!)


Then Easter morning- the boys hunted eggs

Scott found a Peep on the back of the couch and thought that was so weird that the easter bunny would put a chick on the back of a couch-


Somehow I didn't get many pics of Brock really smiling- he was just chill the whole time...

My mom got the boys this game where the balls pop up and you catch them in this net thing- Scott was pretty excited about it! :)

Then they had a good time playing with it with my mom and Kim.

And Kara had a good time watching...
and we had a killer breakfast- then after church we had a feast with my brother and sis from Ogden and Cort and her roomie and Rachel. Good times- good ham- good food- I am still stuffed!!!!! Oh and my mom made some yummy strawberry shortcake for our anniversary!
