man- I've been bad at getting on here!!!!

OK- time for a little bit of updates...

The very latest- we're nailing down our Newport Beach plans for the summer! (these are my pics from last year...) (for those of you who don't know- my family does a reunion of sorts every year where my moms side of the family all get beach houses on the beach in Cali and we just play all week- it's been going on since my mom was a little kid so it's quite the tradition!) I'm sooooo excited for sun and beach and family! woohoo! (We're going the last week in July that ends Aug 1st (when are you going Anna?) And Dan is gonna come with us for part of the week! WOOHOO! Work has made it impossible for him to come the past 2 years so I'm stoked to have him even part of the week!!!!
(I just want you all to know how much I stinkin love my husband!!! He is amazing and wonderful and sweet and loving and a great dad and I think he's dead sexy! I know I joke about him sometimes but truly I love this man more than life itself and think the world of him and couldn't be happier- just so you all know!!!! sorry just had to add that in!)

For those who haven't heard we got the Orem yard- I think I posted that though- but "funny" thing though- UDOT just happens to be planning on widening Geneva road! isn't that hilarious! Yeah- first they want to take our house but change their minds, then they take the AF yard and so we move to Orem and now they are going to maybe take a little of that yard! Jerks! Oh well- at least we have a place to go for now and we'll just hope they don't take much down in Orem. Dan doesn't think it'll be a problem... Anyways- that's the latest on the business front....

As for me- Not much new- I start my next photography class tomorrow- still just enjoying the hobby- and I've been picking up my running a little in hopes to make it up to 13 miles by the end of summer! Here's a pic of my red streak- scott took this pic of me and it's super flattering if I do say so myself- blah!

Nothing much new with the kiddos... just still being cute kids...


Kara is starting to get tickelish (i'm gonna try to include a video of her laughing at the end of this post- I hope it works...)


Brock thought it was really funny the other day to put a piece of ice down his shirt over and over and over!


And just a cute one of him sleeping with his Ikea Piggy bank (he loves that thing for some reason)

And I am SOooooo excited that it's been warm enough to kick the kids out into the back yard more often
Scott and some friends were playing in the back yard and found a bunch of slugs and named them and put them in cars. Scott's was Optimus Prime- he was confused because he was trying to decide if his was dead. The slug in the pink car is Stephanie. And then one of the girls gave Scott a new slug because his first one was "sleeping" and the second one was being quite still as well so Scott was trying to decide if it was "sleeping" too. But he named the new slug Optimus not to be confused with OptimusPrime!

Anyways- that's us- nothing much new but always slightly odd and exciting!


(And here's a video of Kara laughing- there is lots of screaming going on beacuse for some reason Kara thought that Scott and his friends screaming was hilarious for some reason- but in between you can hear her laugh pretty good- be prepared though because the screaming is pretty loud.... she only laughs really good once right around the 18 second mark and it's too dark to really see her face but there ya go.... The grandparents will appreciate this one...)
