So Scott started a new school yesterday and started first grade .aka. all day school along with lunches at school for the first time! He was excited and nervous and so was I. He was so brave and just hopped on the bus though and off he went! And then I went home and bawled about how sad it was he didn't know anyone and had to sit by himself on the bus! But he didn't mind at all. But on the way home an awesome kid (probably 4th or 5th grader) on our street sat next to him and talked star wars and was super nice and is now officially my hero and even had him get in line with him and sit by him again this morning! I could kiss the kid if it wasn't a felony! I need to go give his mom a hug for raising such a stellar little boy!
(it was really chilly that morning so scott wore a coat until he got to school... it was a rather chilly morning for the middle of Aug...) (his backpack looks sooo big on him... my sweet little guy!)
Anyways- Scott had a great first day and rocked his transformer back pack and loved eating lunch at school and liked his teacher and came home talking about this little girl named Hannah he met who had a cute necklace and matching bracelet. Anyways- I couldn't be happier he had a good day!
That's him getting off the bus and running towards us and I think the kid behind him is my hero boy....
