Brock's 4th Birthday!

Brock's birthday was October 12th! I can't believe he's already 4! Time is just flying too fast!!!!

So let me tell you how special my little Brock is. He is such a sweet sensitive little person! He loves to give hugs and loves to be with his family. He hates to see anyone else hurt (unless Scott started it :) Even then, he feels bad even if he did the hurting. He loves to sing and dance and play. He loves to play with water and could spend hours and hours playing in the bathroom sink or the tub. He is so polite and very sweet and friendly to pretty much anyone he meets. He loves little animals like littlest pet shop and even has some imaginary friends he calls his "baby animals" He talks about these guys quite a bit, it's slowed down a bit as of late, probably peaked around 3 1/2 for him. Anyways- these "friends" are usually just something to talk about and usually have something to do with what's going on in Brock's life. For instance when we moved, he talked alot about how sad his baby animals were that they had to move away from their friends into a new house near ours. Or sometimes they are naughty and he'll tell scott they are calling him mean names. It's always been pretty mild, not like schizophrenia talking to imaginary friends, just a silly kid friend. He doesn't sit and talk to them when he plays that I've ever noticed... But he does like to bless them in prayers from time to time. Anyways- just wanted to document it so we remember it as black mail when he's older. :)

Anyways- Brock is a stud. He loves his family so so so much that sometimes he gets extremely sad when he has to leave us, even when it's to play at a friends house for a 1/2 hour or going to preschool. He just has such a sweet sensitive side, it's endearing. He thinks his older brother is so cool and loves to play with him and his friends. He loves his little sister and loves to give her hugs and help her and wrestle but doesn't like her playing with his toys. He thinks his dad is superman- sersiously- he talks all the time about how he could wrestle bears and kill lions and how he's strong enough to pick up anything... He loves to snuggle with mom!! And comes into our room most nights to ask if he can sleep on the floor by my side of the bed. He still calls tags that stick up behind your neck "Hangras" and mustaches are "Beets". Blakets are "blanklets" Spoons are "Skoons". He's just cute.

Anyways- for Brock's birthday, we met up with one of his friends (Brynn and her mom, my friend Annie) for a playdate at McDonalds (which he calls Old McDonalds). Then after Dan got home we went to Pirate Island (which is like a upscale Chuck E Cheese down in Orem.) He just wanted to play on the games for an hour or so then we got some pizza and came home to eat it and have cake. He got tons of Littlest Pet Shops friends, and a new bike along with lots of other little things from both grandmas... He was in heaven! It was a good birthday according to him!

Happy Birthday little man!!!

So I was super lazy in the cake department- poor deprived child. He wanted red frosting and despite my best efforts it ended up dark pink. He said he wanted blue cake so I left some of the blue showing to make it less girly. He didn't seem to mind either way though...

This is him on the phone with my mom- my fam was singing him happy birthday and then I snapped this at a red light while they were asking him what he wanted for his birthday...

And these are all the new Littlest Pet shop friends he got for his birthday. He just loves animals :)
