Can you tell how excited I am- wait till you see the full car in all it's glory- read on dear reader- read on!
So you probably know that Dan works at a junkyard. (Pic -a-part yard/salvage yard/auto wrecking yard- whatever you want to call it.) On occasion he has brought home some "sweet" rides for a day or two just for fun before letting them get parted out.
Once he brought home this "rapist" van! Big ole 15 passanger van with no windows on the side. We took our friends to the movies in it- it was awesome! We each rode in our own row! Remember Ash? Awesome right??
He brought home an assortment of old camero's, corvettes, chevelles I think...
My fave was this giant hooptie boat car he brought home that had to have been some sweet old ladies because #1 it smelled like an old lady. But #2 it was in AMAZING shape for such an old boat. Anyways- I took my girlfriends for a ride or two in it. I think I drove carpool for our dance class in it. That one was a hoot! Who all rode with us? Ash, Britt, Liz, Jackie, JeanneMarie??? I can't remember who all came with? But tell me it wasn't memorable!
Anyways- Dan's always on the hunt for a sweet ride for me. I keep telling him I just want my Shelby Cobra once we're richer and we can make it super sweet and I can pull up to stop lights topless like some Mormon Cougar on the prowl! HAHAhahahahaha ....
But I digress...
Anyways- the other day he came home all excited and told me he'd got me a Porsche. And not just any Porsche but a '74 Porsche 914!
Not familiar with that model...
Well he brought home the actual car last night and I got to pose for some shots in my new PIMP ride!!!
Heehee- awesome right?!? HAha
Some husbands buy their wives flowers and diamonds- but how many get a "sweet" porsche like this? It's a love token I tell ya- the best way my junkyard hubby knows how= and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!
Do ya like the color? Dan calls it "Root Beer" brown. I can think of another name for the color :)
(The kids LOVE it when Dan brings home a "new" car. They all pile in and he always takes them for a test drive. When it's a fast one they go do burn outs and donuts at the church. With the slow ones he just cruises the neighborhood showing off the pimpness of his ride! haha!)
Anyways- I know the car looks, well, super sweet- but Dan assures me that with some new tires, new paint, new wheels, new seats, (basically alot of new stuff :) That it really will be a sweet Porsche for me to drive! I just like how quirky it is! And I can't decide on a color?? And it needs a name- any thoughts??? Amanda- up for naming my new car??? Oooo and it has "winky" headlights!! And I can go topless! Heehee hee

So jealous! And yes, that boat car was very memorable. You could pack so many people in that car! Enjoy your new sports car. :)
I've always thought the best way to drive is topless, so congrats on that ;-) and you need to say whether the car is male or female. Oh, and Dan is my favorite, you lucked out!

This one is going to be fun! You should paint it some bright color like orange and name it a hooker name like Candy. It is your prowling car, isn't it?
I think you should have kept the boat car. It was great. But this one is a close second. I also think you should paint it a fun color maybe neon green!!
Dude... how have I not seen this? I'll need to take a ride to get an official name. How about "the streak". Get it? :) Anyway- let me know when your ready to go cruize! Nothing is hotter than having an 8 mo. prego passanger!
