Book Binge...

So every so often I'll go on a total book binge and read like 3-4 books a week for a few weeks and then slowly it will taper off. Right now I'm in the midst of one but am currently bookless... Since mid sept I've read

Boy In The Striped Pajamas (Really good- it is told from the perspective of a 7 yr old I think so it totally takes the edge off the whole holocaust thing.)

Sarah's Key (WAY good! Sad but worth reading. I liked learning about France during the Holocaust.)

The Lottery Rose (Really neat inspiring story about a boy with a really crappy past...)

Gifted Hands: the Ben Carson Story (AWESOME! Totally inspiring and amazing. I made a few life changes and goals after reading this...)

Hunger Games (LOVE LOVE LOVEd it!!! Couldn't put it down. Just a neat world the author created and very captivating. But I didn't know it was part of a series and it just ends! Can't wait to read the next book!)

I know there were one or two others but I'm totally having a mental block... I tried to read the Screwtape letters but I just struggled and couldn't get through it... I only got about 5 chapters in and gave up. It was really cool though and I promise myself to take another stab at it someday...

Anyways- like I said I need more good books- if you have any good ones to recommend let me know...

Gratzi!

Don't know if you have read The Uglies, the Pretties or The Specials. Im on the Specials now. They are pretty good. A little weird, but makes you think. Author is Scott Westerfeld.I have heard the Hunger games are really good. Keep sharing ideas. After the baby is born I am going to be doing a book club for the ward.

I have heard the hunger games are good...I'll have to read that one next. I read the uglies series...good but the first one is the best. You would probably like them.

Night by Eli Weisel (sp on the last name?) is good. If you're still on your holocaust kick. It's only 80 some odd pages, easy read, but it's pretty intense. I've never heard of Hunger Games, but will now have to check it out. I love the book binges..I'm the same way...
