So in our house we have been HUGE slackers about heeding the prophet's council and getting our food storage... As in I have like maybe 15 extra cans of chicken noodle soup and some extra cans of tomato sauce... That's about it! So I got an email from my Relief Society today (Thanks Lindsey!) that there is sale going on at the N Orem Macey's (800 N) they have wheat and oats and powdered eggs on sale (along with tons of other food storage stuff.) The big kicker is that wheat and oats are supposed to SKY ROCKET coming up here pretty quick (I have no idea why but my father in law said it's true and he's a dang smart guy) Also the cannery's are booked out for over 6 months I think to buy these things so you'll have to go elsewhere and by then the prices may have gone up...
So anyways- all my Utah buds who didn't get my RS email- FYI- Big sale at Macey's. I think I jacked up my back hauling some 45 pound buckets of wheat and some 23 pound buckets of oats off shelfs, into my cart and then into my car... But at least I feel a tad bit more prepared... : ) (patting myself on the back-- yay me.)

Good for you Nicole! I'm such a slacker when it comes to food storage too. My parents have a lot stored up so I'm just hoping if anything happens before I get my butt in gear I'll be able to mooch off of them!

Yay for you!! Did you get some of the eggs? We got some and I'm loving them!! We put them in our brownies and Rick even made french toast this morning with them!! I can't tell a difference...way cool! Hey, are you going to make it out next saturday?? I've missed seeing you!!
