A new adventure....

So a friend of mine asked me if I would take her sisters engagement pictures... after warning her over and over that I've never done anything like this before I decided to try and they didn't turn out too bad.... Here's my 2 faves of the day... I have a couple more at my picture blog if you click at the link all the way at the bottom of this page that says I like pictures or something...

I'm kinda proud of my first attempt. But man oh man it was such a humbling experience and I learned sooo much.... Just in case you were wondering... no I don't plan on going into business or anything but it was so dang fun!!! Poor Dan though- I've been on the computer for 24 hours straight going over these and playing with them in photoshop and trying to decide which ones to give Konnie... Man this photography stuff is addicting... but sooo fun!

Nicole, those pictures look so good, you did a great job, I would hire you! I am jealous of your photos all the time, they always look so good, I keep asking Dave, how can I make my pictures look like that. Your kids are so cute!

Cute pictures all around! I love the ones of the boys in Beaver. The old truck is perfect for boy pictures! You've gotta give yourself some credit girl, you've got talent. :)

You did a great job with these! You have some great shots on your photo blog. I want a nice camera so bad. You can tell the difference between a really nice camera and a o.k. camera.
It usually takes us over an hour to get through Walmart and that is without stopping to play with the toys.

These are great! You could make some money Nicole. Go for it! The light shot reminds me of the scene in Pride & Prejudice. I love that part where the light comes up over the hill and hits perfectly between their profiles. Very artistic. The whole movie has great artistic shots in my opinion. Anyway, I digress. Great photos!
