I just love the story you can get out of these types of pictures....
Like #1 for instance,
Dan is obviously beyond done with family picture day. As is Kara if you look closely. But if you see in the background, Scott wanted to take home a souvenier from family picture day at the pond. A stick, not just any stick, a 7 foot mammoth stick he found lying on the ground. Brock is extremely nervous about his brother carrying a 7 foot stick (with good reason!) (He didn't bring it home in case you were wondering...)
Then Picture #2...
Dan's even more done than the last picture and has on his "Are we done yet dang it?" smile... Scott is done trying to smile nice and is pulling faces. Brock just got poked in the eye by a branch and barely stopped crying but can't put up the effort to smile or even look at the camera. Kara still ready to go home and thinking "Why the crap are we still taking pictures?" And I'm just smiling away becuase I'm getting my flippin family picture for the year even if I'm the only one smiling!!!!
Haha- don't you just love looking back at those "tender" memories!! hahaha

i need to talk to you about purchasing a camera. i want a good one and wanted to know if you had any suggestions. and, i looked at your other blog and you take amazing pictures!!
I think that 2nd pic should be hung on your wall, no sense hiding your true selves!!! ;)
I love how there's always a story when it comes to pictures. I agree, hang up your true selves!
