35 weeks!

So I hit 35 weeks yesterday. The end is getting almost too close for comfort! I feel like I'm just barely getting the hang of 3 kids and soon I'll have 4 and one will be a newborn! Eeek! Dan was out of town this morning and I actually got all 3 kids and me all ready for 9 am church and we were even 10 min early so we could snag the soft bench. (and that included me getting a shower and blow drying my hair- I know! Yay me!)

Not that I'm not excited to have this baby, I totally am. But I just know all too well how much harder babies are to take care of once they come out haha. But ready or not, this child will be out in 5 weeks or less. Wowza!

Journaling portion here so feel free to be done....

But I have been feeling so good this end of my pregnancy. Not too uncomfortable, I don't have crazy hunger cravings, actually the opposite. I am never hungry. I have to remind myself to eat. Most days for lunch I just want an apple with some peanut butter or cheese and I'm full. So I haven't gained any weight in like the last month. Which I gained 40 before that so I hope I'm not in trouble at the dr.s on tues. (don't worry I eat more than that but I have to make myself) But anyways- I'm really feeling great. I remember with Kara being so dang uncomfortable and ready to get her out. I wrote a long ranting post even at 37 weeks here and at 38 weeks here.

I know every week you get way more uncomfortable than the week before so we'll see if I'm singing a different tune in 2-3 weeks. lol. But I go walking at the high school indoor track in the morning 3 times a week and I think that has helped my joints not feel so achey...

But life is good. The kids are being great. Dan had to go to Vegas this weekend for a funeral. (I opted to stay home with the kids just in case- didn't want to have this baby away from my dr. or on the freeway blah blah blah) But this weekend was so easy with them. They were all pretty much angels. I got a bunch of painting and cleaning done. And like I said, even made it to church on time and the kids again were angels during sacrament. They must like me or something- haha.

As far as the kids go, I'm most excited for Scott and Kara. Scott because he gets the whole baby thing the most and I can tell he's just going to LOVE it! And Kara, partly because she needs a little serving of humility in the form of realizing the world doesn't quite revolve around her like she thinks and partly because she LOVES babies. Brock will love it and be a sweetheart but he loves everything...

Anyways- so I realize these are quite possibly the most unflattering pictures ever (horizontal stripes, giant tent preg shirt, sweat pants- your basic sunday afternoon lounge clothes) but I don't post many preg pics and I like to look back and see them so here's a 35 week and 1 day shot taken by Scott... haha

On a totally unrelated note, Kara just brought me one of Scott's star wars ships and had me open the cockpit, she then took out Scott's Obi-Wan action figure and said "There's the dad" and proceeded to make Obi-Wan kiss her little Snow White doll over and over making a kissing noise. What a girl!! Hahahaha
